Dayton, Ohio – Florida women’s basketball heads north this weekend for a Sunday showdown with Atlantic 10-Fo, Dayton at UD Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 pm ET.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Alex Mikos and Beth Flach, while Kyle Crooks and Brittany Davis will handle radio duties on 98.1FM/850AM WRUF.
The Gators and Flyers meet for the fourth time in program history on Sunday with Florida going 3-0. During the last meeting on December 8, 2021, Florida defeated the Flyers in a 60-57 thriller.
Since the 2019-20 season, Florida is in the midst of a 20-game home winning streak. The Gators’ last loss in the conference came on November 26, 2019, when Florida State won 66-55 in Gainesville.

After pulling down 10 rebounds against Houston on Nov. 26, Jeriah Warren He improved on his performance against Prairie View A&M on Nov. 30, grabbing a career-best 15 rebounds. Ten of Kiki Smith’s 15 rebounds have come in the first half since Kiki Smith scored 10 on November 25, 2020 against Grambling State. Warren became the first Gator to record 10-rebound games since Smith finished with 10 in each game on Jan. 31, Feb. 11 and Feb. 15, 2021 against Tennessee, LSU and Kentucky.
Countdown to 800
Florida women’s basketball is nearing its 800th win as a program, currently at 795 in their 49-year history. When the Gators accomplish the feat, they will be the 13th SEC to cross the 800-win threshold, while Mississippi State is also chasing the record, with 775 wins as a program entering the 2022-23 season.
Florida Senior Guard, KK Deans, approaching his 1,000th career point. The West Virginia transfer scored 788 points with the Mountaineers and currently has 106 points on the season with the Gators, bringing his career total to 894. Leilani Correa Scored 1,272 points in his three seasons at St. John’s.
60: The Magic Number
At the helm Kelly Rae Finley, Florida’s defense will always be paramount. Helping prove that point, the Gators have gone a perfect 18-0 under Finley when holding opponents to 60 points or less.
The ‘champ down’ defense
The Orange & Blue have made their defensive identity an important part of the 2022-23 season. Through six games, the Gators are second in the SEC in turnovers forced per game, averaging 21.75 forced, good for 29th nationally. They have forced 20 or more turnovers in five games this season. The Gators are fourth in the SEC and 44th in the nation with 11.2 steals per game.
