CTM to Bring 1000 Mile Consultant Network to N. America

Corporate Travel Management Australia-based 1000 Mile Travel Group is expanding its host agency business into the US, the travel management company has announced.

CDM acquired 1000 Mile Travel Group, a network of independent travel consultants focused on small and medium-sized businesses, at which time they planned to expand into North America. Jamie Pherous, CTM founder and managing director, sees “unprecedented demand” for travel management services in the unmanaged SME market.

“Small businesses are finding increased value in the expertise, support and negotiated contracts available through CDM’s managed travel programs,” Feroz said in a statement. “However, they require a unique level of service and engagement due to their highly flexible operations and support needs. As part of the expansion, 1000 Mile Travel Group founders and co-CEOs Nicola Veldman and Ben Ross relocated to Denver to help establish the brand in North America.
